Comments:

  • It wasn't a booth. It was a bunch of tables with people at them. Same old groups, worse presentation.

  • There should be more than just a few groups participating. Maybe it should be a joint effort with volunteers from various MUG's as opposed to several MUG's promoting themselves.

  • Just one...can't Apple provide the User Group program internet access on the floor to the user group booth locator computers? That would be a positive thing to have at all times, rather than sporadic or not at all.

  • as a former bmuger who worked the show, i long for the days user groups were featured prominently in the middle of the show. if its got to be off to the side we should create a more 'carnival' atmosphere a la the crumpler booths of late. or the belkin booth this year. again, can the ambassadors/ugu attendees get together and buy a decent booth kit rather than just tables. maybe pool prize resources for daily 4pm giveaways. a more visible user group booth would also attract more interest from vendors both from a 'getting stuff to giveaway' perspective as well as raising our visibility in attracting speakers to the lounge (which maybe the speakers area should be part of an EXPANDED user group booth on the show floor.

  • Sorry I didn't have time to stop at the user group booth although I did see it and thought it looked interesting and appealing.

  • Same doing the same things. How can our group get picked to exhibit? Do we have to pay someone?

  • Nice to see international groups with their flags

  • Needs to be better publicized. This probably falls to the individual User Group leaders to make sure those going take advantage of the Lounge.

  • UG Booth was located adjacent to Mac Consultants area, with similar garb on staff. This led to some people approaching the UG tables with highly technical questions. Separating the two organizations might avoid this problem in future. I staffed the International Booth and think it was a fine start. In future, I would hope we could find more International MUG members avaiable to staff for short periods like 2 hours, rather than just the International RL's staffing it for the whole day.

  • Don't have much input on the booth, as I didn't see it much. However, the location didn't seem very good.

  • I couldn't find the user group area. When I finally did it looked more like just a set of lounge tables than a booth.
