The MUG Event Calendar for September 8: Adam Engst, Dave Marra of Apple Times Two, Ian Schray of Softpress Times Six, Andrew Welch and Michael Simmons of Ambrosia, and a Whole Lot of Meetings Goin’ On

MUG Event Calendar 2008The busiest week in months is on tap on The MUG Event Calendar, with a host of special guest speakers, road show appearances and a broad range of topics.

Adam Engst of Take Control and TidBITS and MacNotables will visit a New York group and Apple Senior Systems Engineer Dave Marra will present to two different groups in Pennsylvania.

In what might be a record, Ian Schray of Softpress will deliver six (yes, six) different MUG presentations this week as the Freeway Roadshow crosses the United States, and Andrew Welch and Michael Simmons will split MUG presentation duties for Ambrosia Software, with two different appearances in Illinois.

That’s just the start, however. Other meeting topics this week include Filemaker’s Bento, Newsletters in Adobe InDesign, Automator, mass storage options, open source software, iPhone, iPhoto books, iWork ’08, Audio Products and Virtual Software Synths, eBay…the list goes on and on.

Your group can add to the list of Mac User Group activities all over the world just by emailing your meeting information to The MUG Center. We will post it here, on The MUG Event Calendar and in our weekly Briefing.
