The MUG Event Calendar for the Week of September 20: Christopher Breen, Aaron Davis of Apple, Data Robotics and Two Final Cut Pro Events

Several notable events and guests headline this week’s MUG Event Calendar.

Macworld Senior Editor and MacNotable Christopher Breen will present to one California group, while just down the road, representatives of Data Robotics will show off the many faces of Drobo at another. Aaron Davis of Apple will be the featured presenter at a Maryland group, and a Final Cut Pro User Group will not only hold their monthly meeting one day, but will also hold an event at DV Expo the next night.

Other topics up for discussion this week include Apple Mail, iWork, archiving and data sharing methods, Apple’s Motion, iChat, Skype and more.

Wednesday 22-Sep Los Angeles Final Cut Pro Users Group – "Back to FCS Night" Larry Jordan will once and for all show some of the best tips for compressing for the web. Patrick Sheffield will show how to Cheat in Motion. Shane Ross will take go "offline to online," the same FCP workflow he did for the emmy nominated JFK special "JFK: THE LOST TAPES." Also Dan Donley who travelled around the world with a Canon 5D will remind them that sure, its shoots great video, but it takes damn nice stills too.

Thursday 23-Sep Los Angeles Final Cut Pro Users Group – Presence at DV Expo in Pasadena for a fun packed evening of learning and networking and mayhem. On the agenda will be the the World Premiere of a brand new tool from Intelligent Assistance with Philip Hodgetts. Also Adobe Premiere Pro and 3D with Karl Soule. And Taz Goldstein of Hand Held Hollywood will present the top apps every filmmaker will want to have for his/her iPad/iPhone. Plus World famous Raffle.
