Macworld Conference & Expo - San Francisco 2005: Tips & Tricks for Getting Your Web Site Found

"Macworld Live On Stage Theater" Presentation
Thursday, January 13, 4:30 - 5:15 PM
(Open to all Expo attendees)

Lesa Snider
The Graphic Reporter
Getting your website found is becoming increasingly difficult in a world where thousands of websites are added to the Internet daily. As the Web continues to expand at warp speed, the likelihood of your target audience ever finding your site decreases...unless you stack the deck in your favor. You need to know how search engines and their spiders like to be treated, the top ten plus things you can do to get found and be highly ranked, and what online tools are currently available to help you achieve these goals.

If you want to generate quality web traffic and make your web site a more productive and effective communication tool, this session is for you.

Macintosh User Group leaders, members and webmasters are specially invited to attend the session to learn how to improve their web presence and get more visitors to their web sites.

Lesa Snider is the owner of Flying Fingers, a creative new media firm specializing in web site visibility. She provides private and corporate training and consulting on web site marketing techniques, interface design, and search engine optimization, as well as a variety of design disciplines. Lesa is a popular speaker at industry conferences, with publishing credits that include regular content for various industry publications and web sites, such as monthly pieces for MacDesign magazine and weekly tutorials at photoshopuser.com. She is an alumni of the Apple User Group Advisory Board, and a four-time User Group University faculty member. Lesa's new web site, The Graphic Reporter, provides tips, tutorials, and reviews for all levels of creative enthusiasts.
