Guy Kawasaki to Address Ashland Macintosh Users Group at May Meeting

Guy Kawasaki
On Tuesday, May 12, 2009, the statewide Oregon MacPioneers Users Group (Omug) and the Ashland Macintosh Users Group (AshMUG) will present an evening with Alltop co-founder, business author and former Apple evangelist Guy Kawasaki via live webcast online.

AshMUG meets on the second Tuesday of each month between 6-8:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Guy Kawasaki will be the main presentation from 7 to 8 p.m. at the May 12 general meeting. AshMUG has teamed up with the School of Business at Southern Oregon University (Ashland, Oregon) to host this event in The Arena Room on the SOU campus. AshMUG begins its meetings with an in-house, free-form Q&A at 6 p.m. Main presentations begin at 7 p.m.

Although Kawasaki’s visit will be more of a “fireside chat” format, topics planned for discussion are his Alltop.com site, his latest book, Reality Check, Guy’s “state of today’s business” opinions, Apple, hockey, and a session-concluding Q&A. Other topics may be explored. For event updates and details, please visit the Omug website:

AshMUG streams its general meetings live with the help of Ashland companies Open Door Networks and Project A. For streaming details and links, please visit the AshMUG website and the OMUG site.
