The MUG Event Calendar for August 20: James Lee of Tropical Software, Video Compression, the iPhone and Making Movies

MUG Event Calendar

This week’s MUG Event Calendar is a little slow as summer vacations for many groups in the Northern Hemisphere deplete the list of actives. However, that must makes the group meetings that are occurring more notable.

James Lee of Tropical Software continues to be a very frequent presenter to MUG audiences with a visit to a Florida group. The iPhone gets two slots on the calendar, one in Ohio and one in South Carolina, a group in Washington D.C. will focus on making movies with the Mac, while a Final Cut Pro User Group in California will talk about a related topic, video compression.

Other meeting topics and events include a BBQ in Washington state, Motion 3 in Chicago, what to do with summer photos in South Carolina and burning CDs and DVDs in Australia.

Get your group’s meetings listed on The MUG Event Calendar. Email what you’re up to and we’ll add you in.
