The MUG Event Calendar for November 18: Apple’s Dave Marra, FileMaker, Parallels, More Leopard, HDTV and More

MUG Event Calendar

This week’s MUG Event Calendar slows down a bit, but only a bit, due to the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday week.

Apple Senior Systems Engineer Dave Marra is back in his home territory to present Leopard in New Jersey, the folks from FileMaker will show off their latest, including the brand new Bento, in Pennsylvania, and running Windows and more inside the Mac OS will be the topic when Parallels visits a California group.

Leopard will also be shown to a California group by an Apple business consultant, and by group leaders in Arizona, Ohio, Wisconsin and Belgium.

MUGs in Japan will host presentations on Open Source and “From Independent to Corporate and Back Again,” while AppleScript, YouTube and MySpace, Office alternatives, presentation preparation and iPhoto round out the agendas of several other U.S. groups.

What’s your group doing in December? Washington Apple Pi does it, why don’t you? email your group’s meeting information to The MUG Center and join the already long list of groups who’s meeting information gets extra visibility on The MUG Event Calendar and in our weekly Briefing.
