North Carolina State University MUG Hosts Steve Wozniak
PackMUG, the North Carolina State University Macintosh Users Group will host a special presentation by Apple Co-founder Steve Wozniak on April 26. and will be held at 2:00PM Saturday afternoon at the Jane S. McKimmon Center. Dr. Marye Anne Fox, the chancellor of NCSU, will deliver welcoming remarks. A live video stream of the event is also planned. While the event is open to the public, over 600 students, faculty, and staff representing eight universities in North Carolina have already registered, filling the event to capacity. At present, there are plans to accommodate more attendees, and wait-list registration is available. Check the PackMUG web site for complete details on all aspects of this exciting event. (3/26)



Bob "Dr. Mac" LeVitus To Headline HAAUG MacFest I

Bob "Dr. Mac" LeVitus will head line the Houston Area Apple Users Group's MacFest I, on April 26th. LeVitus is the author of OS X for Dummies, The OS X Files, and over thirty other books on Macintosh computing. He will keynote the first HAAUG MacFest with sessions that will uncover the features of OS X, Apple's latest operating system for the Mac. MacFest is a full day celebration of all things Mac. The event will also feature sessions on Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office for OS X and a "Tune Up Your Mac Shop." For more information check out the HAAUG web site.
